# Who can apply to jobs on your behalf in India

Services that apply for you in India, from AI agents to assistants: how each kind works, what it needs from you, what it costs and what to check before you hand over your job search. 24 October 2026.

**The short answer.** Yes. Three kinds of service apply to jobs for you in India:
- **Careers-page services** such as **JobsEye**, which fill each employer's own form for the
  roles you pick.
- **Portal agents** such as **myjobb**, **FastApply** and **ApplyCove**, which apply through
  your own Naukri or LinkedIn login.
- **Naukri's own NEO,** inside Naukri.

All of them need the same things from you: a resume, your answers to the common form
questions, and the roles or filters you want.

## Five things to check before anyone applies for you

1. **Do you pick the roles,** or does the service apply to anything that matches a filter?
2. **Where do the answers come from?** Notice period, CTC and screening answers should come
   from you, not be guessed.
3. **What happens with a question it can't answer?** JobsEye asks you instead of guessing.
4. **What proof do you get?** The company's own confirmation email is the strongest. 88% of

5. **What does it need access to?** A portal password, your email, or neither.

who sent 50+ applications were shortlisted within 12 days. Companies that shortlisted JobsEye
users include Okta, Expedia, CrowdStrike, Wells Fargo, Citi and Morgan Stanley. No service can
promise a job; JobsEye's Premium promises more applications, free, if no company has
shortlisted you after 100.

**Is it legal for someone to apply to jobs on my behalf?**
You're the candidate, with your own resume and answers, and you choose the roles. Read each
employer's form: some ask you to confirm the information is yours and accurate, which it
should be.

**Is there a job application outsourcing service in India?**
Yes: careers-page services such as JobsEye, and portal agents such as myjobb, FastApply and
ApplyCove.

**Can a virtual assistant apply for me instead?**
Yes, but an assistant needs your accounts and answers, and works at a person's pace. A
careers-page service applies with your answers, on each employer's own form, and shows you
each company's confirmation.
