# Why JobsEye Never Guesses on Your Behalf

JobsEye applies for you on the company's own form. The one thing it never does is invent an answer. Here is where that line is drawn, and what happens when a form asks something we don't know.

The first question people ask about JobsEye is: "So it actually applies for me?" Yes. You pick a role, and JobsEye fills in and submits the company's own application form. What it never does is make something up to get the form through. That rule shapes most of how the product works.

## Where careless auto-apply goes wrong

A tool that applies for you has to answer every field on the form. The easy way to do that is to guess: pick a plausible notice period, tick "yes" on a question about a certification, estimate a salary, choose the first option in a dropdown. The form goes through and it looks efficient.

The cost lands on you later. An interviewer asks about the certification you do not have. A recruiter holds you to a notice period you never gave. An answer that was never yours is now on record under your name.

The problem with careless auto-apply is not the automation. It is the guessing.

## What JobsEye does instead

**It asks you everything once, up front.** When you join, we read your resume and ask the questions application forms ask again and again: notice period, current and expected pay, work rights, willingness to relocate, and the rest. You can change any answer later in Form answers.

**It uses only your answers.** When it fills a form, every field comes from your resume or from something you told us. The company's own form is filled completely, on its own careers site, and the confirmation comes from the company.

**It never stops halfway and waits for you.** An application does not sit half-filled until you come back. It either goes through, or it is not sent.

## What happens when a form asks something new

Sometimes a form asks something we do not have an answer for: a question specific to that company, or a detail you have not given us yet. We do not guess and we do not submit a made-up answer. The application is not sent, and **it goes back to your balance**. You are charged only for applications that are delivered.

You can then add the missing answer in Form answers, so the next form that asks it goes through.

We would rather return an application than send something under your name that is not true.

## The trade-off, stated plainly

This makes JobsEye slower to build than a tool that fills gaps with guesses, and a small share of applications come back instead of going out. We think that is the right trade. Speed on everything we know, and nothing sent that you did not say.

Applying for a job should not be a second job. It also should not happen carelessly, with an answer you never gave. We built JobsEye to fix the first without causing the second.

**FAQ**

**Does JobsEye apply to jobs automatically?**
It applies to the roles you choose, on each company's own form, using your resume and your answers. It never applies to a role you did not pick.

**What happens if a form asks something JobsEye doesn't know?**
The application is not sent and it goes back to your balance. You can add the answer in Form answers so the next form that asks it goes through.

**Does JobsEye ever guess an answer?**
No. Every answer comes from your resume or from what you told us.

**Am I charged for applications that fail?**
No. You are charged only when an application is delivered. If a form cannot be finished, the application is returned to your balance.
